Global Bank in association with the Students' Loan Bureau (SLB) offers a
loan facility for post-graduate study in all faculties of:

University of the West Indies (UWI);
-
University of Technology (UTECH); and
-
Northern Caribbean University (NCU).
Additionally, financial assistance is also available for post-graduate
programmes offered by the Institute of Management Sciences/Florida
International University (FIU).
Types of Loans
Facility 1
This is open to graduates who are employed
full-time.
Facility 2
This is open to unemployed graduates who have
been accepted in a post-graduate programme and who are in need of financial
assistance. The applicants should be willing to authorise and indemnify
the universities to hold the diploma or certificate pending the settlement of
the loans.
How to access financing
Students accepted to do post-graduate study must
apply to the Students' Loan Bureau within the dates advertised.
Application forms cost J$250.00 and the applications must be accompanied by
the required documents. In addition, applicants will be required to pay
a processing fee of J$4,000.00 and life and disability insurance at a
cost of J$1.50 per thousand dollars borrowed. The life and disability
insurance is to be paid each month. There is also a shared commitment
fee of 32% to disburse the loan.
